Currently, sensors, motors, displays and secondary batteries used in automobiles and mobile devices are expected to be the driving force for a new society.
Making full use of our core technology, Precisely Controlled Machine Technology, we are contributing to solve problems with reliable combined technology and developmental power in these ever-evolving industrial fields. 
The company was founded in 1936 as a repair shop for Motor and Transformer. We have accumulated control technology by manufacturing switchboards and control boards. We have entered the fields of factory automation and mechatronics with our Precisely Controlled Machine Technology that incorporates Mechanical technology into our specialty of electrical control technology.
As a new business, we have been working on Laser Processing Technology since 2003, have developed and commercialized a device for removing thin films using a laser. Today, it has been well received by domestic and overseas customers in terms of its technological capabilities in high-speed cutting of functional films and high-precision microfabrication.
As the needs of the world diversify and technology continues to evolve rapidly, we will further enhance our core technological capabilities of electricity, machinery, and laser, and respond to customer requests with the combined Technology to reform Monozukuri and innovate society.
We will work on a creative technology development and meet every one's expectations.

May 1945 Founded in Higashimachi, Kurume.
Opened a repair shop for motors.
August 1963 Established Takei Electric Factory
Control of a machine tool, design fabrication of operation board.
September 1966 Reorganized into Takei Electric Industries Co., Ltd. (Capital:JPY2,000,000)
September 1970 Design fabrication of control panel used static relay.
Design fabrication of electric components for water treatment plant
April 1971 Design fabrication of analog control with IC and LSI.
September 1973 The factory moved to Miyaki-cho, Miyaki-gun.
September 1973 Started the fabrication of SCR Leonard for paper and steel mills.
March 1974 Located the head office at Edoyashiki in Kurume.
Design fabrication of digital control system used IC, LSI, and MOSIC.作
October 1978 Established machinery business division.
September 1982 Manufactured two prototype industrial robots (2heads, 10axes)
March 1986 Established FA System Division.
April 1992 Started a production of optical media discs.
January 1995 Started development of image processing control system.
January 1995 Engineering business alliance with Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. for image processing.
October 1996 Started R&D of semiconductor post-process and high-speed wire bonder.
February 1998 Manufactured a high-speed wire bonder prototype.
R&D for special die bonder.
April 1998 R&D for semiconductor front-end process and cleaning equipment.
December 1998 Increased capital to 98.3 million yen.
December 1998 R&D for wafer-saving resist spin coater.
May 1999 Obtained ISO9001 certification.
February 2000 Started a production of liquid crystal process equipment.
September 2000 A clean room was placed in the factory.
May 2001 Started a production of PDP process equipment.
February 2003 Developed ITO transparent electrode laser processing system.

December 2017 Selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as a "regional future traction company".
January 2018 Received the Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 7th "Monozukuri Japan Award".
